Supposedly in the last month or so of pregnancy, woman have a nesting instinct and in a burst of energy, start to prepare the house for the baby. I think Luke has been feeling the same way. Our kitchen was our least favorite room in the house. It barely had any storage or counter space. And we desperately needed a dishwasher.
So first he bought used cabinets from the
Evanston Rebuilding Warehouse, a nonprofit organization, and fixed them up.
Then with the help of his dad and brother, he installed our new dishwasher!
